As a Data Associate you will be primarily responsible for the research and management of S&P United States Recovery data-ensuring quality, completeness and integrity. You’ll be tasked with executing current processes, utilizing various applications and adhering to regulatory requirements and internal business rules. You’ll work to enhance day-to-day operations to improve accuracy and efficiency, as well as mitigate any integrity risks for data flowing to external products and clients. The position will exemplify “best in class” customer support and service ensuring strong communication and professionalism are followed.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of the financial markets (Corporate, Financial Services, Structured Finance/CLOs, Sovereigns and Insurance), knowledge of Credit Rating process preferred
• Innovative problem solving, analysis and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a particular focus on customer service
• Microsoft Office skills to include advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• SQL, TOAD, VBA
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage, take initiative and meet deadlines without supervision
• 2+ years of experience within a financial services environment in Operations and/or Data Organization
• BA/BS Required – preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $49,400USD to $98,200USD. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and experience.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
