Position Description
Salary Grade: U1
Pima County’s Department of Finance and Risk Management is seeking a dynamic, motivated intern to join our Financial Transactions Division. The successful candidate will work in a team-oriented environment, learning the day-to-day tasks required to support multiple enterprise systems. As an intern for the department, you will gain experience extracting data from systems using tools such as Excel and SQL Server Management Studio. You will also be exposed to financial reporting, data analysis, system configurations, system patching, and many other tasks performed by a functional system administrator. We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, computer-savvy team player with a positive attitude to join our team.
NOTE: This internship position is in-person and in-office.
Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A recent graduate from or currently a sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.

Licenses and Certificates: Some positions may require a valid Arizona Class D driver license at the time of application. Failure to maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination.
