What You’ll Do:
The Office of the Ohio Attorney General is currently seeking a motivated and efficient individual for an Account Clerk 2 position in the Finance Section. The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, financial and accounting tasks. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Analyzes and processes invoices and other related materials.
-Determines accuracy and validity and prepares vouchers for invoices and the disbursement of funds (e.g. verifies mathematical accuracy, quantity of goods purchased and received, purchase price, applicable discounts and freight charges).
-Reconciles discrepancies.
-Matches invoices to delivery receipts and purchase orders.
-Processes remittance for receipt and disbursement of funds and verifies accuracy.
-Processes petty cash payments and replenishments.
-Performs variety of related clerical tasks (e.g. conducts correspondence relative to materials processed; maintains filing system; answers telephone inquiries).
This position will work remotely. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is our Columbus, OH Office.

Qualifications
2 courses or 6 mos. exp. in high school accounting or accounting for bookkeepers offered by college; 1 course or 3 mos.
exp. in operation of adding machine & calculator; 6 mos. additional exp. in bookkeeping.
-Or 10 mos. exp. as Account Clerk 1, 16511AG.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
