Account Delivery Manager – Roseville, CA – Hybrid

Your role in our mission

  • Manages the delivery of operational services for an account (people, processes, and technology). Directs daily work activities and priorities, driving innovation, cost efficiency, and performance optimization within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Builds, develops, motivates, and leads teams of leaders and individual contributors, supporting employees through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and rewarding, performance management, and management activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining budgets and leading, sponsoring, and contributing to projects (Business as Usual [BAU] and Transformation). Partners to positively influence the financial impact for their respective business area(s).
  • Assists and equips others to efficiently solve operational challenges and consistently drive improved client satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Establishes and effectively leads weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines to drive the achievement of Client contractual SLAs and bonus targets, assigned goals, objectives, and account scorecard deliverables.
  • Ensures employee adherence to policies and procedures, including compliance, regulatory, training, and quality requirements.
  • Serves as point of escalation for area of responsibility. Preemptively, addresses account performance concerns or issues.
  • Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities. Ensures risks associated are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Creates conditions for success by removing obstacles and leading and championing change. Drives accountability and efficiency through adoption of standard operating procedures.
  • Contributes to the development of new service offerings and enhancements based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Serves as a peer mentor and on-the-job trainer for other leaders.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible account management experience, including a minimum of two (2) years Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience, or equivalent experience managing a large-scale government or private sector healthcare contract valued at twenty (20) million dollars or more.
  • 9 or more years healthcare account management and / or customer contact center leadership and people management experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contact center hardware and software applications used to manage contact center and back-office operations [CXone, Verint, etc.].
  • Advanced experience leading moderate to large cross-functional teams and initiatives; demonstrated proficiency collaborating in matrixed organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisioning and address complex service delivery challenges effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Current Management experience leading diverse operational teams in Healthcare/Medicaid Authorized Services, Claims Processing, Provider or Member Management, Call Centers, Finance, or Quality.
  • Knowledge of business operational areas to include Authorized Services, Customer Contact Centers, Claims, Mailroom, Pharmacy, Provider Enrollment, Provider Relations, SURS, and technical staff.
  • Industry DDI (design, development, and implementation) acumen of Healthcare/Medicaid modules.

What you should expect in this role

  • Sacramento, California. Must be able and willing to work onsite in the office as needed. Hybrid work schedule between onsite and remote.
  • Travel based on business need, 25% or less.

The pay range for this position is $135,000.00 – $168,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
