What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive on our Group Benefits team, you will partner closely with our Sales team and top-level Broker partners to:
- Deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
- Provide expert renewal analysis
- Outstanding service and selling of new lines of business
This opportunity plays a meaningful role in delivering profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in-force group business by developing and implementing customized strategies. This will be done through strategy discussions with the sales representatives and brokers. In addition, individuals in this role will be seen as industry experts and consultants in group benefits in general.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
- Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Travel required (5-15%), including overnight stays.
- Will spend some time in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers in this market, but mostly will be virtual meetings.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$60000 – $82000 / year

Location
It is a hybrid role, in that there could be split time working from home and working in the office.
