DESCRIPTION
Amazon Seller Services (www.amazonservices.com) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive for the Seller Growth sales development team. We are a fast-growing, e-commerce marketplace business focused on accelerating growth of US domestic 3P Selling Partners into medium and large scale businesses by providing bespoke strategic advice in order to develop their business on the Amazon store.
This role will focus on building trust through win-win relationships with 3P Selling Partners to drive engagement and adoption of growth-driving programs. We help accelerate program adoption for key growth opportunities by coaching Sellers on the fundamental building blocks to develop their business long-term on Amazon.com consisting but not limited to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Amazon Advertising, Amazon Brand Registry, etc.
Key job responsibilities
This individual will work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. You will be chartered with developing and managing a sales pipeline mix of both high-value and transactional accounts, while executing consultative sales and account management strategies to deliver results and ensure Seller satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with senior and executive level decision-makers to accelerate customer adoption.
An Account Executive will:
• Drive and exceed Seller revenue growth goals for a defined portfolio
• Drive and deliver sales goals while maintaining a high quality of work.
• Manage, develop and execute business development strategies against a comprehensive account/territory plan
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions through a consultative selling approach, clear communication, problem-solving oriented, and utilize data to drive actionable insights.
• Partner with other Amazon teams including Category Management (CMMs), Program Development, and other Global
Selling teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth in existing seller base.
A day in the life
• 60% – Seller development consultations (Phone, E-mail, Video Conference)
• 20% – Post-Seller consultation action items and research
• 15% – Projects & partnerships
• 5% – Team meetings and training

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of enterprise class sales experience, preferably in e-Commerce, Retail Technology, Finance, Logistics or Software Industries
• BA/BS degree
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales metrics and quota attainment
• Ability to prioritize work in a complex, and consistently fast-paced environment
• Service-oriented
• Show independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Experience with data analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in account management/partner management
– Work independently in an ambiguous environment
– Experience with cross-functional collaboration
– Verbal and written communication skills
– Experience communicating progress and objectives to leaders
– Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets
– Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
