Description
JOB STATEMENT: This position will be responsible for monthly financial statement preparation of assigned company(s), month-end reports, reconciliation of general ledger to statements and reports as well as offer assistance in Bronco Wine Company’s overall financial reporting as assigned by supervision / management.
Essential Duties:
- Understand and comply with all ISO9001, HACCP and GMP requirements and processes
- Month-end journal entries and supporting analysis with schedules for assigned companies
- Month-end financial statement preparation for assigned companies
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts for assigned companies
- Annual accounting accruals and reconciliation for purposes of tax return preparation for assigned companies
- Assist Director of Finance and accounting team with financial reporting preparation for Bronco Wine Company as well as other entities as needed or requested
- Ability to calculate and produce cost standards for case good packages and bulk wine
- Ability to produce a laid in cost for ownership to determine price point of sale
- Monthly Inter-company accounting including reconciliation of inter-company clearing accounts
- Ability to reconcile and work on Fixed Assets to calculate depreciation and asset lives
- Ability to work on Construction in Progress and track budgets and cost to completion
- Assist with Daily Cash Management
- Produce reports to management on activities of assigned companies
- Assist with cased goods and bulk wine inventory on an annual, or as-needed, basis
- Special projects and analyses as required
- Function as a resource person for accountants with less experience
- Work with independent auditors, customers, and vendors as a representative of Bronco Wine
- Invoice customers for bulk wine, hauling, bottling, and storage based on contracts
- Prepare reports regarding crush related items – hauling, grower payments and OH
- Assist in preparing for annual audit, including PBC list, and on site requests
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
- General Accounting Software, Tier I or II ERP experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Trucking rates & DMV procedures

- Plan, organize and prioritize workload
- Work with minimal Supervision
