Our team in Space and Defense is looking for a part-time (20-30 hours), temporary Administrative Assistant to join them. You will report to the Site Finance Manager. And will have a hybrid work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.
To be considered for the Administrative Assistant role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous office/clerical experience
- General proficiency in Microsoft Excel
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Research documentation and information to determine close-out recommendations
- Reconcile differences between payments, invoices, receipts, and outstanding balances
- Collaborate with vendors using excellent customer service
- Consistently use analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work under minimal supervision
- Interact and communicate with all organizational levels
Salary Range:
- $18-$20/hour, based on experience
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
