SPECIAL NOTES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A combination of college coursework and experience as described above may also be interchanged. Professional work experience can quality on a year-by-year basis in place of the required education. College coursework will be considered the equivalent of experience at the rate of thirty (30) semester or forty-five (45) quarter hours on a year for year basis
Additional requirements:
- Proficient in Excel or comparable spreadsheet program.
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel with excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to apply a general knowledge of business practices to a variety of practical situations.
Additional preference will be given to applicants with:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation.
- Three (3) years of accounting experience.
- Experience using My Florida Market Place, Ariba On Demand System.
This position may be required to occasionally perform duties other than those listed on the position description.
The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
As an Operations Analyst II you will be responsible for OIT (Office of Information Technology) accounting responsibilities. This includes invoice processing and tracking, reporting on aging invoices, travel and STMS preparer roles, and preparing financial data in a logical way.
