Position Overview
Our paid internship program provides a rich and rewarding hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to make a contribution to our organization. Our interns work in their course of study under close direction of an experienced supervisor/manager. Our Accounting Interns will assist the Accounting Team with a wide range of projects.
Duration: This is a temporary internship for Summer 2024. Official start and end dates flexible based on student’s availibility.
Wage: $18 – 22/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Assume responsibility for plant accounting.
- Weekly/Monthly Production entry.
- Inventory accounting.
- Cost review and analysis.
- Reconciliations.
- General journal entry.
- Timely posting of Bill of Ladings and inventory transfers.
- Work closely with Controller to ensure accurate reporting and timely completion of tasks.
- Work closely with accounts payable department to ensure accurate inventory costing.
- Assure that the assigned day-to-day operations are carried out in accordance with established accounting principles, policies, and objectives.
- Strict adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley and company policies.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year and currently enrolled in an Accounting or related program of study
- Must be available to work approximately 40 hours per week
- P.C. knowledge required specifically Excel and Word for Windows.
- Organizational and excellent communication skills required.
- Must pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Must have current US Authorization to work
