Accounting Operations Assistant Analyst – Control

Overview

The Accounting Operations Assistant Analyst will be responsible for accounting for Foodservice & Retail trade payments made to customers within North America with approx. 30,000+ payments worth $260+ million annually. The payments must be executed and accounted for as specified under PepsiCo Financial Policies.

The team answers customer and sales management inquiries regarding payments. Additionally, they assist in providing analytics and information to support the Foodservice Planning team(s) to assist in forecasting the Local Tradespend. This role will also aid ad hoc work within volume reporting, accrual Risk/Opp. This role with assist in the transformation of internal PepsiCo systems. Assist Internal audit team with audit of AP payments to ensure we are following internal controls.

Responsibilities

Operational Process Accountabilities

  • Field Questions & Issues from Regions
  • Input all centralized funding credit programs
  • Participate in Pre/Post Close Fin/KAM calls
  • Approve all manual Payments
  • Participate in GCS and Sox protocol
  • Participate in GCS & KPMG Requests
  • Ad hoc & Project requests

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,300- $92,500 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree; preferred Accounting or Finance.
  • Financial or accounting experience is desired, internships and school projects can be considered.
  • Knweldge on Microsoft Excel, Office, Outlook
  • Attention to Detail
  • Know how to communicate with management
  • Think outside the box and try to see whole picture
  • Hard working and reliable
