Accounts Payable Analyst (IS Department)

Job Description

This role is primarily focused on accounts payable and business operations within a large, multi-country IS department: tracking purchases from inception to invoice payment, assisting with the categorization of operating expenses and capital spend, analyzing variance to forecast, and updating reports. The person in this role will also support projects to support and increase the effectiveness of the department’s employees.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Information Services, Healthcare, Non-Profit management, or equivalent educ/experience
  • 2 years: experience with accounts payable in a large organization
  • Able to work in our Renton offices occasionally

Preferred qualifications:

  • Two+ years of accounting study or experience in the healthcare, non-profit, or information services space.
  • Familiarity with financial statements
  • Experience creating journal entries, complex multiple line purchase orders, and matching invoices and purchase orders.
  • Experience with large company ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, or other
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Familiar with business operations: purchasing, invoicing, payroll, time keeping, monthly close, inventory management, payroll, budgeting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to summarize problems, outline the issues, and provide suggested solutions succinctly and clearly.
  • Some experience in managing small projects

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
