Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our organization. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and service providers. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

- Processing and verifying invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders, packing slips, and other supporting documentation to ensure proper authorization and coding.
- Performing data entry tasks, including entering invoices and payment details into the accounting system.
- Reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and communicating effectively with vendor store solve any issues.
- Maintaining accurate and organized accounts payable records, including filing and archiving of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborating with internal departments when needed.
- Performs daily check-run.
- Assisting in other duties as assigned.

Previous Experience
Previous experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a competent knowledge of computers and general computer use abilities. Proficiency in 10-key and typing skills isa requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

Physical Demands
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing job duties. Use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, calculator, and other office equipment. Regularly required to view computer screens, read written documents, and interpret financial data. Occasional lifting of files, documents, and office supplies, weighing up to 20 pounds. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members and vendors. Occasional bending, reaching, and stretching to access files or retrieve documents from filing cabinets or shelves.
