The Accounts Receivable department is a shared service for KIMN, KXKL, KKSE (FM/AM), Altitude Sports & Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), and Outdoor Sportsman Group

Nature of Work: This position supports Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide and will be responsible for billing, cash receipts, assist with collections, process month-end general ledger entries, and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations related to accounts receivable.

Examples of work performed:

  • Administer monthly billing
  • Submit electronic invoicing
  • Prepare approved proforma invoices upon request
  • Apply cash in subledgers
  • Record cash in accounting system
  • Maintain daily cash receipt logs
  • Coordinate with AR & Collections Assistant to prepare aging reports bi-monthly to send to Account Executives and for monthly aging meetings
  • Apply and reconcile approved credit adjustments
  • Monitor severely delinquent accounts and make recommendations to the AR Director for more aggressive collection efforts
  • Book monthly revenue
  • Prepare account reconciliations for applicable AR accounts and research reconciling items
  • Complete commission reports
  • Maintain ledgers, credit balances, and resolve account discrepancies
  • Perform and apply all credit card transactions and cash deposits
  • Set-up and maintain new customer accounts
  • Special projects as assigned by AR Director
  • Prepare D&B information for credit checks and present to AR Director for approval

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. High School or GED
    2. 1 to 2 years of accounts receivable experience or a degree in accounting
  • Preferred
    1. Experience with Wide Orbit and Great Plains a plus

Compensation:

  • Base hourly range $21.63-$24.04 per hour
