A marketing intern is an aspiring marketing professional at the beginning of their career. Under the general supervision of the VP of Marketing and or the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Intern will perform a variety of skilled and unskilled activies involved in the operation of the marketing department for Acrisure Arena dna the Berger Foundation Iceplex.
This internship role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00.

Now open, the brand new Acrisure Arena provides the greater Palm Springs area of Southern California with a premiere 11,000+ capacity venue hosting the biggest artists and acts on the planet. Responsibilities
Internship Responsibilities:
- Assist department with any required tasks as they arise including:
- Responsobile for brainstorming promotional ideas to announce new events coming to the arena and Iceplex including gifting and giveaway items.
- Building upon existing Community program to improve our presence throughout the Coachella Valley.
- Working with the Brand Manager, facilitate Main Entrance activations for all non-Firebirds events.
- Promote our events by working with our Street Marketing team including mapping distribution points, soliciting team members, and keeping all calendars and listings up to date with our events.
- Assist the Social Media Manager in maintaining a content calendar for the Berger Foundation Iceplex and identifying for micro influencers in the Coachella Valley.
- Maintain a presence and contribute in meetings and team activities regarding upcoming events and always see if there is something you can do, learn or drive
- Be willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, anthropology, psychology/sociology, business or a related field
- Willing to commit to the intern position for four months.
- Willing to learn and get hands-on experience.
- Able to commit at least 18-24 hours a week to be physically present at the facility.
