Wellness Director – The Villages of St Peters – Full TimeVillages of St. Peters is seeking a Full Time Wellness Director. The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized, compassionate and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care. Your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Wellness team and provide support, developing and implementing a well-rounded wellness program for Assisted Living, Long Term Care Memory Care and Rehab patients to include evenings and weekends, celebrating holidays and big events
- Timely completion of assessments, care plans and associated paperwork
- Facilitating monthly Resident Council meetings
- Supervising wellness assistants to include training, scheduling, evaluation, etc.
- Managing the center volunteer program to include recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and time management
- Ability to be a team player and work with other departments to build staff morale
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher specifically for producing monthly calendars and newsletters along with other external and internal marketing material

Pay:$21 – $28 / hour
*Negotiable based on education and experience.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university OR
Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR
Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care
