H/L is seeking an Ad Ops Specialist to join our Media team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of building and managing campaigns from start to finish. As an Ad Ops Specialist, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of working on one or more clients and overseeing multiple campaigns. The role includes collaborating closely with both internal and external media partners to ensure campaigns are set up correctly and launch on time. This position is based in Oakland, California. Hybrid work will be considered in the SanFranciscoBay Area.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support Senior Ad Operations team members to efficiently create and review campaigns from start to finish
- Work closely with internal Media and Creative teams, as well as external digital and media vendors, to ensure seamless production, delivery, and measurement of all assigned campaigns
- Assess deliverables based on media plans
- Assign traffic ads within various ad platforms-ad servers, demand-side platforms (DSPs), and social media platforms, among others
- Implement third-party pixels
- Troubleshoot ongoing campaigns and ensure any optimizations are updated
ABOUT YOU:
- You have Ad Ops, Digital Analytics, Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social, or Digital Planning experience of 1+ years (Preferred)
- You are proficient at Excel (Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas, etc.)
- You are able to work under tight deadlines, while being extremely detail-oriented and organized, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects
- You are able to work across several projects and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple teams
- You are comfortable working independently and completing all necessary tasks without constant supervision
- You may have knowledge of marketing channels & platforms
- You are able to demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under fast paced campaign timelines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have a Bachelor’s degree

For SF Bay Area/CA based candidates, H/L offers a projected salary range for a position as an estimate of what the company believes is a reasonable pay scale. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including the job’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s qualifications, budget availability within the department, internal pay equity, geographic location, and external market pay rates for similar positions. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $67,000 – $75,000 per year.
