Job Description
This posting is to establish a pool of qualified applicants for the 2023-2024 academic year for positions at San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College.

Part-time faculty position teaching courses in Nutritional Science/Dietetics.

To Note:

Adjuncts hired to teach for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration

OR
Bachelor’s in any of the above

AND
Master’s in Chemistry, public health, or family and consumer studies/home economics.

(NOTE: A Bachelor’s in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration, and certifications a registered dietitian, is an alternative qualification for this discipline, pursuant to title 5, sections 53410.1)

Experience:

Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience teaching Nutritional Science/Dietetics courses at the college level.

5. Unofficial transcripts that show you meet the minimum educational requirement(s) for the position. Only transcripts showing the awarded minimum required degree or higher degree will be accepted. Transcripts must be legible. Transcripts must be from a US accredited institution. Transcripts from outside the US must include an official evaluation for equivalency.
