SummaryThis position provides administrative support to Regulatory Support as well as various other groups within External Affairs organization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Directly or through others, the incumbent:
- Performs all essential functions and aspects of the job including any other specific job requirements
- Maintains regulatory information in hardcopy and electronically ensuring information is easily accessible and maintained in accordance with regulatory document retention policies and Company procedures
- Provides support for the control and processing of information required to be filed with various regulatory authorities (including PUCT, FERC, and municipalities) including typing of documents and labels, copying, assembly, scanning, quality verification, service to external parties and internal distribution
- Reconciles monthly purchasing card statements, miscellaneous invoices, and travel expenses
- Monitors office supply inventories and initiates orders as necessary
- Distributes and processes departmental mail
- Initiates, compiles, and distributes weekly status reports timely and accurately
- Generates correspondence such as letters and memos with general direction
- Coordinates travel arrangements
- Assists various personnel with meeting room reservations and preparation
- Other duties may be assigned
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Education
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required
- Associates degree preferred
Experience
- 3+ years secretarial or administrative support experience
- Working knowledge of utility law and regulatory rules and regulation a plus
Skills
- Ability to communicate directly, specifically, and constructively, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures a plus
- Multi-task oriented
- Must be organized and detailed oriented
- Must work well under pressure, flexible and adaptable
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- Proficient computer skills w/good working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Outlook
