JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Administrative Assistant – 12 Month
Location: Unit Office
Department: Curriculum
Reports to: Curriculum Directors
FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
Provide administrative support to the curriculum directors and assist in creating a positive educational environment in the district.
DUTIES
- Budget-curriculum, POs, purchasing
- Curriculum ordering-elementary and secondary
- Task force ordering elementary/secondary/ELL-processing
- Administrator and certified conferences, registration, hotels, reimbursements
- Stipend payments-mentors, task force, required curriculum training, credit recovery
- Pay administrator dues for professional organizations
- Substitute tracking-Sped, subs charged correctly to curriculum and grant budgets
- Credit card tracking/POs (Directors of Elementary, Secondary, Multilingual, and Teaching and Learning)
- Update elementary, junior high, and high school handbooks annually as needed
- Manage and track expulsion data
- 5th grade music list- create to share with First Student (as needed)
- High School Course To Career Guide updates
- High School Computer Science Associate’s Degree Program – correspondence/organization
- Organize and monitor CPDU documents and completion for ROE
- Monitor and process enrollments and intake form especially during the summer.
- Attendance exceptions and open attendance letters/spreadsheet
- Utilize Infinite Campus/SIS System to download and analyze data for needed reports.
- Assist Director Team/Assistant Superintendent as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 yrs. experience in an education environment, exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a busy work environment is essential.
- Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Professional image, actions, communications and working relationships are required at all times.
- Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Google (Docs and Sheets).
- Experience with or ability to learn district software systems such Infinite Campus, Tyler and Frontline.
- Experience with or ability to learn and adhere to Federal and State TRS grant requirements.
- Professional image, actions, communications and working relationships are required at all times.
COMPENSATION:
Fully Board Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision available.
Per the 2022-2023 Administrative Assistant (Educational Office Personnel) Salary Schedule the starting pay range is $14.67-$16.87 and is based upon experience.
