Job Description

The Administrative Assistant for the Luxury Showroom provides an exceptional experience to each customer through phone, email, or client-facing contact while completing the appointment scheduling in an efficient and detailed manner. This role assists the Sales and Marketing vision of the company by accomplishing set goals of lead to appointment conversions in addition to delivering our 10 serving basics with each customer interaction. In some business units, the Administrative Assistant may be required to support showroom operations, walk-in customers, visual merchandising, and overall cleanliness/maintenance of the space.

Pay is up to $20/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming phone calls, make outbound calls, and schedule all Design Consultant appointments.
  • Manage confirmations of all Design Consultations and Installations.
  • Assist the General Manager and Sales Manager with administrative expectations and reporting.
  • Manage the office supply/sample inventory for the main office or showroom(s).
  • Serve as the first contact to greet all clients who visit the showroom.
  • Maintain the showroom at the direction of the Showroom Manager in accordance with the maintenance checklist.
  • Assist with calling all unassigned leads and striving to achieve the 90% conversion rate goal.
  • Achieve department and individual metric goals for consultations.
  • Support other offices/showrooms within the market
  • Assist with sample program, showroom items, and any other sales and design-related tasks as needed
  • Create and update organizational charts
  • Conduct visual merchandising and light cleaning to keep spaces aligned with the brand.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a customer service representative or administrative assistant
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Salesforce, or CRM platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience preparing presentation materials via PowerPoint
  • Calendar management/regional scheduling is a plus.
  • Interior design interest or education is a plus.
