Job Summary

The Benton County Finance Department is seeking a Administrative Assistant Mail Clerk to join the team!

Job Summary
This position is responsible for mailing and mail delivery services, both external and internal. Assists departments in the planning and preparation of all large mailings. This position is resposible for the coordination and purchasing of office supplies for the departments within the Kalapuya building.

  • This is a part time, benefit eligible position with flex time within each pay period to meet 0.80 FTE equivalency.

Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:

  • High school diploma or GED; and
  • at least 2 years of general office or administrative support experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least six months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.

Special Requirements:

  • Valid Oregon Drivers License and clean driving record.
  • This position requires lifting of up to 75 pounds. There is some lifting on a daily basis. Heavy lifting occurs 8 to 10 times per week.
  • As this position travels between all County departments, working conditions are subject to all extremes of weather.
