Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, updating records, documents, and other administrative functions as required in support of the Salem/Hope Creek Operations Department.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare/perform administrative functions, draft routine correspondence, compile data, organize, schedule meetings, answer telephones, and provide information as required.
  • Perform routine clerical duties: filing, copying, satellite file updates, word processing, time administration duties, prepare daily packages.
  • Develop and maintain reports and indicators to measure department effectiveness.
  • Coordinate department training, travel, vacation and maintain department calendar.
  • Prepare and distribute a variety of reports and documents, as needed.
  • Perform multiple tasks and assignments, with minimal guidance, to provide support to departmental Manager and supporting supervisors.
  • Plan and monitor overtime call outs as needed, in accordance with the call out rules and FFD programs.
  • Resolve inconsistencies in time records to ensure completeness and accuracy. Index procedures and documents for DCRMS, Use of SSIS.
  • Create notifications.
  • General knowledge of Fatigue Rule Management.
  • Participate in outages and/or Emergency Plan

Job-Specific Degree, Experience or Certification

REQUIRED:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications [Word, Excel, Power Point,].
  • 1-2 years Strong Administrative experience.
  • Shift work.
  • Must meet and maintain Nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Empcenter, SSIS, and DCRMS.
