Ohio EPA wants you to join the Director’s Office as the newest administrative professional in beautiful downtown Columbus. Be a part of an active, driven office with purpose!

As an administrative professional, you will work closely with the agency’s Assistant Director and Chief of Staff. You’ll maintain calendars and scheduling, while organizing meetings and monitoring all correspondence. You’ll be a crucial part of day-to-day operations that will achieve wide-reaching ripples from the Director’s Office throughout the entire state and the Ohio EPA workforce.

You’ll assist with inquiries from the public, making a direct impact on the people and families we serve. You’ll prepare time-sensitive reports, helping to ensure answers and results are being delivered.

You’ll be involved in the heart of most everything that happens in the office and help operations run efficiently!

Qualifications

  • Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; AND 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • Or 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
