The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest administrative professional inside our Groveport Field Office Location.

In your new role you will provide non-routine administrative support to the Groveport Field Office (GFO) and perform administrative tasks for the six GFO program managers and oversee development and/or maintenance of centralized systems to support common areas and the six program managers working in GFO.
You will assist in the preparation of position papers and statistical reports based on analysis and interpretation of data relative to Ohio EPA programs in the GFO. You will originate, track, and receive common purchases, such as office supply items.
As an administrative professional, you are going to assist and provide support with meeting and training software applications, and you will assist with the administration and troubleshooting of the agency’s learning management system and will evaluate and properly handle concerns or issues related to learning the management system, eLearning, virtual or in-person meetings and trainings.

– Acts as administrative support for Ohio EPA’s Groveport Field Office (GFO) and the various programs housed at the location and oversees the development and maintenance of centralized systems to support those programs.
– Responsible for purchasing and tracking general office and field supplies; filing systems; safety plans; providing phone coverage; and mail/deliveries.
– Works closely with Ohio EPA’s Employee Development and Strategic Management program with helping create, plan, and execute trainings for internal and external customers.
– Will assist with the creation of training materials as well tracking the training materials through each step of development, implementation, reviewing, and updating within the established training platforms while being a point of contact for assistance from customers.
– Will help Ohio EPA’s Health and Safety Program in maintaining databases and purchasing and tracking safety equipment purchases through the program.

Qualifications
- Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; AND 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Or 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
