We are recruiting for an Administrative Programs Assistant which supports a dedicated team of public servants in administrative functions for the office.
Duties, Responsibilities, Miscellaneous Information
- Perform fiscal duties such as accounts payable, special welfare accounting and reporting and reconciling financial data;
- Process purchase orders, invoices and account payments;
- Serve as Primary Security Officer. Performs information systems technical support and systems security functions;
- Manage hardware/asset assignment and setup; tracks inventory. Performs new employee onboarding for equipment and system access setup;
- Serve as liaison between the local agency and the Virginia Department of Social Services for information security functions and inventory acquisition.
Qualifications/Certifications
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associate’s Degree preferred.
Driver’s License: Possession of a valid drivers license with a point balance of -5 or better required.
