The Administrative Svcs Assistant provides general administrative support through efficient management of various administrative duties in a busy office environment. Essential Functions
- Support the Company’s Onboarding process for the Glen Allen office
• Coordinate completion and maintenance of new hire forms or documents
• Answer basic employee questions about onboarding
• Ensure IT assets and cell phone are procured for new hires
• Coordinate travel for new hires
. Input HR-related data as needed - General office/administrative responsibilities:
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and retention
• Provide general administrative support for office and field personnel
• Receive, sort, and disperse mail
. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other events - Records reporting and maintenance:
• Maintain DOT files for employees, ensuring accuracy of records and compliance with applicable regulations
• Process fuel usage reports
. Utilize MS Excel for data management and retention - As backup, enter and upload weekly payroll information in E1 for office and field personnel
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of general administrative or payroll-focused experience
- High school diploma or GED is required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards payroll system module
- Working knowledge of basic onboarding procedures
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
