General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the IT team as an Administrative Specialist III. This position requires a variety of complex and analytical clerical, administrative and customer service functions that vary widely in subject matter, level of difficulty and require a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality with little or no supervision.

As an Administrative Specialist III, you will primarily support the procurement, contracting, RFP and computer inventory functions within the Information Technology Department. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties including providing administrative support to department staff, managing and organizing departmental files, coordinating meetings and events, and ensuring that all departmental processes and procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail. Additionally, they should have experience working with procurement and contracting processes, and a working knowledge of computer inventory management.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.

The hiring range is $52,258.70 – $61,549.13/annually ($25.12 – $29.59/hourly)

PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:

  • Holidays: There are 11 paid holidays each year.
