Administrator Coordinator

Company 8, LLC, a truck company located in Sykesville, MD, is seeking an Administrator Coordinator, a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage financial tasks, including invoicing, collections, and processing of payments
  • Accounts Payable
  • Prepare information for the driver’s payroll to send to the payroll department
  • Approval of weekly employee time card approvals
  • Prepare Tag and Title work for renewals and new vehicles
  • Track driver/owner-operator expenses, tolls, fuel, etc.
  • Prepare IFTA information
  • Manage DOT Files for updates, send employees in for required FMCSA DOT physical and drug testing
  • Manage rental properties
  • Assist in helping to answer the phones
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
  • Be able to work independently

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • An outstanding communicator, both orally and written
  • Ability to multi-task and work with constant interruptions
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with digital file management
  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

SALARY/HOURLY EXEMPTION:

  • Full-Time, Exempt Position
  • Salary based on knowledge, experience, and education

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Sit for prolonged amounts of time
  • Walk, bend, kneel, and twist
  • Talk and hear
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds on occasions

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
