POSITON: Brand and Design Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO: Vice President of Communications and Brand Experience

SCHEDULE: ~37.5 hours / week, Monday – Friday ~9:00a – 5:00p

PAY RANGE: $68413.45 – $77538.78 / year

LOCATION: This position is fully remote, with no on-site requirements. However, you must be located in one of the following states to qualify for remote employement with PPRM: Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, Kansas, Ohio, Missouri & Pennsylvania.

SUMMARY

    • This position will:
    • Participate in the creation and implementation of department strategic communications plans and initiatives
    • Serve as a creative advisor to other departments within the agency
    • Implement departmental strategies that support agency vision and goals
    • Organize/prepare status reports on graphic design and online engagement projects
    • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
    • Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team and other PPRM departments
    • Serve as a representative of PPRM
    • Encourage inclusivity in all parts of PPRM
    • Supports a positive working environment
    • Support the utilization of volunteers throughout the Agency
    • Help shape the creative direction of agency. Develop ideas, concepts, and creative projects to achieve mission goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least three to five years of demonstrated experience in graphic design
    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro) and other technology necessary to perform job function
    • Experience in updating and maintaining websites
    • Experience in delivering quality photography and videos
    • Experience in creating graphics that have a high visual impact
    • Ability to develop and align online strategic initiatives with overall branding efforts to maintain brand consistency
    • Ensure PPRM’s web presence and social media initiatives are aligned with overall patient and advocacy campaigns
    • Excellent verbal communication skills; utilize ethical communication practice
    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Perform duties with a high level of integrity
    • Strategic and critical thinker with proven decision making skills
    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
    • Understanding of reproductive health care, sex education, and advocacy issues desired
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Ability to travel locally and nationally as necessary

    • Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Graphic Design
    • Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner, while maintaining communication with other departments and stakeholders.
    • Supervise regional graphics staff and development of vendor projects.
    • Develop quality digital and print images for websites, social and traditional media, and marketing ads in adherence to PPRM brand standards.
    • Create graphics for internal/external emails and various types of digital communications, with emphasis on donor and supporter engagement.
    • Timely creation, review, editing, updating, and posting of graphics for online properties, including photo and video components.
    • Ensure marketing department meets PPRM agency requests, projects and special events by delivering high-impact photography, videos, and graphics.
    • Develop and align online strategic initiatives with overall branding efforts to maintain brand consistency and to heighten awareness of PPRM’s services, advocacy work and education program.
    • Maintain and update PPRM’s web presence and social media initiatives are aligned with other reproductive health organizations and coalition/community partners overall patient and advocacy campaigns.
    • Present recommendations to VP of Communications for graphics development and revisions (including web-sites, social media, newsletters, electronic patient communications, promotional materials, etc.).

    • Identify community partnerships and opportunities for the agency outside of traditional partnerships.
    • Responsible for the digital look and feel of PPRM owned properties (to the extent possible while working with PPOL.)
    • Develop creative digital projects such as slideshows, videos, photographic stories for campaigns and agency reputation.
    • Travel as needed to represent PPRM at meetings, conferences, professional gatherings, etc.
    • Serve on committees as requested.
    • Participate in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.).

$68,413.45 – $77,538.78 a year

COVID-19 Vaccine: PPRM requires that all employees are fully vaccinated as a condition of employment. An employee is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or one dose of a single- dose vaccination (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). Proof must be uploaded upon starting. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) on your first day of orientation.

Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient contact or while in the health center from October 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). The flu shot will be available to health center employees in the health center in addition to being able to seek the flu vaccine externally through the medical plan or reimbursement.
