The Advocacy Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to Advocacy program initiatives and stakeholder engagement to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing business service strategies. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving Advocacy efforts, resolving case escalations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Assist in all operational aspects of the Advocacy Program.
- Monitor, review, and update the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) Framework.
- Advocate for Program policy simplification.
- Analyze Member data, including areas of Cultural Competency, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI), Health Status, Race, Ethnicity, Social Economic Status, and Age).
- Participate in cross functional business service focus groups to brainstorm and resolve escalated cases by Advocating from the Member perspective.
What we’re looking for
- 3 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 1 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred. An in-depth knowledge of Claims Processing is required.
- Advanced knowledge in analytical software to gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
- Liaise between various business departments and groups using your ability to identify and communicate with key stakeholders. Needs Excellent Communication and Leadership skills
- Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve
- Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
- Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations. Requires experience with QA and UAT testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams

- Must live near Roseville, CA for this Hybrid position as occasional onsite will be required

The pay range for this position is $59,500 – $85,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
