AFTER SALES SERVICE TEMP – BUCCELLATI, NEW YORK
Role Overview
Our work in the after-sales service department is to advise and support clients to find the best possible solution to their jewelry, silver and watch questions. After-sales service employees are expected to relay information to our clients in a comprehensive and understandable way, paying close attention to detail. We appreciate that our clients’ purchases are precious and, in some cases, irreplaceable. Buccellati offers a trusting and comfortable environment with efficiency and the utmost care. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in luxury retail or hospitality. The job location is Madison Avenue, New York and reporting to the Director of Customer Service and Logistics.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to provide elevated after sales service to our clients in all business channels including Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce
- Create and document tickets for jewelry, silver and watch services including repairs, cleaning, battery replacement, personalization, valuations and other services
- Provide pricing and timeline to clients with the utmost care and clarity
- Communicate and follow up with clients weekly with updates on active repairs and service requirements
- Perform basic jewelry and silver cleaning, watch bracelet sizing, changing watch straps.
- Perform quality control on all finished repairs for jewelry, silver and watches.
- Communicate with after sales service vendors
- Communicate with HQ customer service department when appropriate
- Prepare shipments to both vendors and clients
- Work closely with and assist Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce sales teams as required for after sales service
- Support customer service and logistics teams when needed
- Assist with answering phones and other ad hoc projects as required by the business
Qualifications
- 2 years of previous experience in luxury retail, jewelry, silver and/or watch repair or luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge, or interest, in jewelry, silver and/or watches.
- Must be able to multi-task while still providing exceptional customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with SAP a plus
