We are looking for:
- An Industrial Controller covering the Americas Region (North and South America) for the Global Business Units Soda Ash and Silica (~500M€ OPEX). This role also encompasses global responsibilities for the Silica GBU.
We count on you for:
- Leading a team of 3 Controllers.
- Driving and leading both the performance and management cycle for the relevant scope (monthly results, forecasting, action plan follow-up).
- Partnering with Business and Operations to deliver performance and to elaborate options.
- Working in close collaboration with the Finance function.
- Providing financial guidance and insights, clearly communicating about the overall performance.
- Ensure efficient processes and reliability of figures, mostly around OPEX, Working Capital and CAPEX.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS norms as needed and with the steering of internal controls.
- Successfully support competitiveness and excellence projects.
- Being a leader in the Group transformation, supporting on all financial topics to ensure the cultural change, providing key insights and rallying people around efforts.

You will bring:
- University degree, preference in Business Administration / Finance
- Minimum 15 years experience in Controlling
- Experience in FP&A, good understanding of standard costing, variances, P&L, price volume cost analysis, cost accounting.
- SAP knowledge, IFRS, strong international exposure and network, Solvay internal rules: Tax, TP, Reporting, etc
- English fluency
- Experience in Business Partnering
- Strong ability to challenge the Status Quo

- Good communications skills to present and explain financial information to various levels of the organization
You will get:
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $163,000 to $180,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
