We are searching for an Analyst to join our Sportsbook Analytics Foundations team. The Analytics Foundations team takes on the challenging problems that will empower DraftKings to be a market leader and the first choice for customers in the years to come. As an Analyst, you’ll focus on deepening our understanding of customer retention, promotion efficiency, segmentation, and more, in order to optimize decision making across operations teams. You will also work cross-functionally with our Analytics teams to generate insights, define measurement frameworks, analyze business performance, and identify high-value areas for opportunity. What you’ll do as an Analyst:
- Leverage data to enhance our measurements of customer engagement and value, defining requirements for new datasets as needed.
- Be responsible for the development of analytical frameworks and reporting to measure and inform our customer initiatives across our online sportsbook. Example areas include discovering opportunities to improve customer retention, providing nuanced and actionable customer segments, driving personalized approaches to promotions and merchandising, and more.
- Partner with operators to define business problems and identify and help design analytically rigorous solutions.
- Create high-quality presentations to communicate with key stakeholders across the business effectively.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant, quantitatively oriented field (finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, business analytics, or similar).
- 1+ years of experience with analytics or data science in a work or academic setting.
- Excitement to become a subject matter expert on the digital sportsbook space.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid work environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics & hypothesis testing.
- Advanced knowledge of inferential statistics and predictive modeling (preferred).
- Practical experience with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau.
- Curiosity to learn about a complex business and a desire to grow as an analyst.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $73,600.00 – $110,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
