ANALYST LEAD – ASSET/LIABILITY GRC
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Asset Liability GRC analyst will provide support for all regulatory related matters applicable to Interest Rate Risk (IRR) management. This person will be responsible for communications with 2nd line of defense (GRM), 3rd line of defense (internal audit), regulators and external audits during Treasury reviews, assessments and validations. The person will be responsible for maintaining issues list identified during various reviews, coordinate and support their timely and effective resolutions. Responsibilities include assessment of Treasury IRR practice with current and new regulatory requirements, maintaining all related documentation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Keeps abreast of latest regulatory requirements related to IRR management. Conducts analysis and identifies compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, performs gap analysis to applicable regulations.
- Maintains open issue log for issues identified by regulators, 2nd LOD, 3rd LOD, and external auditors. Develops action plans for resolutions.
- Assists and coordinates timely and effective resolution of open issues.
- Represents CNB Treasury in bank wide GRC project.
- Serves a backup for IRR modeling and development of model assumptions.
- Maintains assumptions list for QRM and all related sub-models used for IRR, budget, planning, CCAR, and EWST.
- Maintains QRM change control log
- Plays a key role during annual model assessment and model validations. Maintains model white papers related to the IRR and CCAR processes.
- Coordinates Treasury review by regulators, 2nd LOD, 3rd LOD, and external auditors.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 to 10 years of financial analysis experience
- Minimum 5 years advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of Treasury operations, Interest Rate Risk management, ALM practice, is highly desired.
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of bank colleagues and clients.
- Ability to organize analyzed data into simple, complete and concise presentation formats. Envision the global issue, separate symptoms from causes, research thoroughly; weigh cost/benefits and derive sound conclusions.
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines.
- Ability to resolve routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
- Ability to follow standards and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
- Familiarity with project management.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $101,231 – $172,355 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
