Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Product Management the Analyst is a key member of The Academy’s New Product Development team. The Analyst will conduct research and analyze market data to identify trends and areas of opportunity for key Private Equity provider groups.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Process ad hoc reporting requests including but not limited to market share trends, capacity planning, demand forecasting, payor rate data to drive payor negotiations, etc.
  • Conduct market research on identified industry trends and financials
  • Utilize available tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to create effective data visualizations to quickly synthesize research into a digestible format
  • Process data requests quickly with a customer-service mentality
  • Collaborate with other team members on cross-functional projects involving relevant data sets or industry topics
  • Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Participate as an internal consultant on a variety of enterprise-wide projects as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ year of work experience in data analytics and/or data visualization
  • Skills in quantitative research; analyzing complex data sets, including an ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information and to focus quickly on the essence of an issue
  • Understanding of data management systems and database structures
  • General interest in healthcare datasets and their business applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools Tableau is preferred

Compensation:

Pay starting from $65,000 and up per year plus benefits.
