EAB’s Product Marketing team is looking for a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial content marketer to join our team, focusing on our Technology products: Navigate360, Edify, and the Moon Shot for Equity.
The Product Marketing team develops content and strategies to increase brand awareness, create demand, drive sales, and support renewals for our Technology business. This includes developing thought leadership content such as blog posts, insight papers, infographics, and webinars as well as sales enablement collateral such as one-pagers, sales decks, and urgency documents.
In addition to a passion for persuasive writing, a love for big ideas, and a graphical eye, in order to be successful in the role, one must have excellent collaboration and project management skills.

This role is based in EAB’s Washington D.C or Richmond, VA offices. We are also open to remote candidates within the continental U.S. This role is concurrently posted at both the Analyst and Senior Analyst levels and candidate level will be determined at point of offer.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Analyst will operate under the guidance of Product Marketing Leadership, leveraging the full resources of the marketing organization including sales leaders, demand generation managers, web editors, research teams, as well as other key stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
- Creating content
- Writes, designs, and produces effective thought leadership and sales enablement content including but not limited to blog posts, case studies, conference proposals/presentations, insight papers, webinars, infographics, video testimonials, executive briefings, reference webinars, visit decks, scripts, competitive positioning pieces, brochures, executive summaries, website content, furthering tools, urgency documents, and other collateral
- Interprets complex issues and presents them effectively; adapts style, tone, and word choice to various media
- Proactively edits existing content and/or scripting to reflect latest market intelligence and product positioning
- Achieves high standards of productivity and timeliness
- Driving innovation
- Proposes and tests new channels, deliverables, formats, and ideas
- Actively contributes to the evolution of the firm’s Marketing function, sharing insights and best practices to enhance overall performance
- Collaborating across teams
- Collaborates with other groups across the firm, such as sales, creative services, client teams, research, product management, and events
- Market Insights
- Keep current on industry trends in student success, equity, and data management and maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary services and vendors and how to position EAB in relation to them
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2-3+ years professional experience
- Able to clearly and precisely express complex ideas in written and graphical form; skilled at adapting language, format, and style for various media and audiences
- Skilled writer, preferably with blog-writing experience
- Able to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end, working with multiple groups effectively and on multiple projects concurrently
- Intellectually curious, quick study, creative, attentive to detail, self-motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Ideal Qualifications:
- Professional experience in content marketing, brand strategy, research, or marketing communications
- Knowledge of the U.S. higher education industry, ideally including IT and the campus data landscape
- Professional experience developing, marketing, selling, or delivering consulting services

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $44,000 – $65,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
