Job Overview:

The Analyst, Program Development will be part of an innovative entrepreneurial, high-performing team that is driving the development, management, and execution of LPL’s new and existing advisor business lines and our institutional partnerships within the Business Development organization. The role will work closely with our strategic Business Line Owners, Product & Platform Strategy teams, CARE (operations and services), Legal/Risk teams, Technology teams, and other cross-company departments as well as external partners. The individual will play a critical role in enabling our advisors and institutions to forever partner, operate, engage, grow, and thrive in a manner that is superior to alternative platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across the firm to maintain alignment on vision, strategy, and performance to goals, approaching strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset, leveraging critical thinking to increase the value proposition of assigned products and programs
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal team members and business partners to strategize and develop innovative solutions for an industry-leading advisor and institution experience
  • Act as a liaison between multiple LPL Business Units and technology to ensure all Business Requirements are accurately documented and tracked appropriately.
  • Support decision-making for the business and demonstrate persistence in raising issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding program execution
  • Develop roadmaps, plans and metrics that communicate progress, risks, issues and approach to execution that support continuous learning and improve outcomes
  • Responsible for maintaining a centralized program development dashboard to help streamline the way in which we provide status and track deliverables across all Business Lines
  • Provide analysis and project management on a variety of strategic initiatives impacting multiple Business Lines and assist in creating and implementing best practices for project implementation and reporting via PowerPoint, Excel, BOX, Smartsheet, Jira, Leankit, Confluence, AHA! etc., plus budget health
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when supporting multiple workflows and manual processes including BAU standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience related to project coordination/management or business process development
  • Ability to operate tactically in order to meet project timelines with managing competing priorities
  • Proven ability to prioritize/monitor workload to meet project deadlines, and collaborate across multiple business units
  • Experience MS Office suite, with a particular proficiency with Smartsheet and PowerPoint required

Preferences:

  • Excellent organizational time management and organizational skills with keen attention to details
  • The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority
  • Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team
  • Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact with senior leaders, including developing, presenting, and gaining approval on any business cases and funding requests
  • Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within position scope and at the company
  • Ability to create a strategy/plan that articulates that incorporates a business’s vision
  • Advanced Smartsheet, experience with AHA!, Confluence, skills highly preferred.

Pay Range:
$62,120-$93,180/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
