The SENY Energy Services Program Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Energy Services 2025 program which is in alignment with the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). The SENY Energy Services 2025 Program Manager’s responsibilities are wide-ranging and seek to ensure successful implementation of the SENY Energy Services 2025 program so that the City of NY meets the goals of the CLCPA and other applicable Local Laws. The SENY Energy Services Program Manager Program Manager will be responsible for detailed reports on progress, energy reduction potential, and other metrics as required. All NYPA products and services will be leveraged and promoted to SAEs to support them in achieving their goals. #LI-AE1
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily management throughout the life cycle of the program.
- Support the stakeholders in planning and development of programs and projects.
- Define the controls, processes, procedures, reporting, etc. to manage the programs.
- Strategize and prioritize resources.
- Monitor progress to ensure that the milestones are being met across the various projects and programs.
- Manage the risks and issues that arise during the program cycle as well as take measures to correct them.
- Manage the program budget and identify internal and external funding sources.
- Coordinate the project(s) and their interdependencies between various projects and programs within departments or business units.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong experience as project manager of large and complex projects.
- Broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
- Understanding of the business and strategic goals.
- Able to work with all levels of management internal and external.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocations.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in Project and/or Program Management
- Bachelors degree required
Physical Requirements
New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is: $126,000.00 – $154,000.00. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
