Our Accounting team members are skilled in their field and most are looking to grow within the company. If you have 2+ years of experience as anAP Processorand have at least 1 year of property management experience, we want to talk with you! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently looking for an AP Processor to join our corporate team in San Diego, CA This position is a Full-Time | Hourly | Full Benefits
Pay Range: $18 – $19 / Hour
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
Community College education is highly desirable - 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- 1-2 years of Property Management industry experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- You must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Accounting Administration
- Open, Code, Scan Utility Bills and any Miscellaneous invoices.
Upload and process to the correct Utility and/or vendor, to the correct GL Codes and making sure the correct dollar amounts are entered after researching any previous balances or late fee’s.
- Review all payables, makes corrections and submit for check printing
- Review, delete or push Rejected and Exception items
- Make sure all Tenant Refunds within Yardi and Boston Post have been paid
- Making sure all approved AP invoices have been reviewed, approved and checks have been cut and mailed.
- Review Utility Logs making sure all Utilities have been processed for the month
2. Communication
• Return calls and emails within 48 hours of receiving and acknowledging receipt providing estimated timing on responding to request
• Communicate and help fellow AP staff, ensuring all projects are complete and accurate
3. All other duties as assigned.
