Position Description:
As an APIGEE Developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing, and implementing complex integrations. He/she will work closely with technical/non-technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them high level design documents for APIGEE.

• APIGEE development experience
• Hands-on experience on REST/JSON, XML, SOAP data formats
• Designing Apigee proxies, implementing policy configurations.
• Experience in implementing security with OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect
• Working knowledge of all proxy policies in APIGEE
• Strong knowledge in Open API specification and writing API documentation.
• Ability to package APIs and client application management
• Working knowledge of Java scripts, XSLT, Java, HTTPS, TLS, Etc.
• Knowledge of IDE tools like Visual source code.
• Working knowledge of GIT and any other source control.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in APIGEE and beyond
• Experience in working with Developer portals
• Experience in Postman and various utilities with in postman.
• Familiarity Logstash, Kibana/Splunk
• Knowledge of GCP logs, storage, dashboards and other GCP components.
• Ability to work with various non-technical / technical teams to understand and document Integration specific requirements.
• Create high level/ detailed design documents specific to APIGEE portion of work
• Ability to present designs in technical meetings
• Knowledge of change management of APIGEE artifacts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing high volume web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP & XML).
• Experience in API Products like APIGEE in designing API facades, and designing and implementing API Proxies, and Developer portal
• Experience in securing APIs using Oauth, SAML, Open ID Connect and etc.
• Good knowledge on design principles and best practices in implementing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge in API Modelling languages and annotation (YAML, Swagger, RAML)
• Strong knowledge on message transformation languages like JavaScript, XSLT, and Java
• Experience working with and writing Swagger definitions.
• Good knowledge on API publication methods e.g., API Products, versioning
• Education and Additional Skills
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent college education
• Should have experience with working in large development projects.
• Should have the ability coordinate across multiple teams.
• Be nimble in handling and delivering fast moving projects with very minimal supervision.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,600 – $198,400
