WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • We are looking for a Footwear Associate Product Line Manager who will be a critical player in supporting the Product Marketing team across the Jordan Kids Footwear Business.
  • The Jordan Kids Footwear Product Line spans the gender spectrum as well as product types from heritage to future.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • The nature of the work is focused on product realization including planning & evolution of product lines.
  • Performs market research. With direction, conducts analysis of current business.
  • Provides support to team through analysis and reporting.
  • Contributes to drafting the line plan.
  • Optimizes the line managing style efficiency and sku productivity.
  • Participates in all facets of the product creation process.
  • Enters and ensures accuracy and timeliness of information in the data management system. Works with team to create presentations to sell product.
  • Additionally, this person will support as a key consumerist for the team.
  • They will assist in analyzing trends in the market, keep the team connected to the consumer we serve, and help drive information back to the team to help insights shape action.
  • We are looking for someone who can help bring kid-specific insights to the forefront of product creation to drive product excellence and assist in creating a new future for Jordan Kids Footwear.
  • In partnership with the Product Marketing team, this person will build into being responsible for key areas of the product line where they will manage all facets of the creation process from beginning to end.
  • This person will assist in driving all stages of the product creation process, from uncovering sharp consumer and marketplace insights to presenting finalized footwear concepts to key stakeholders.
  • They will work with cross-functional teammates across Merchandising, Development, Design, Engineering, Testing, Costing, Brand, and Planning to meet key deliverables, each season.
  • Additionally, this role will be responsible for tool and information accuracy that supports key deadline readiness.
  • This is a unique opportunity to drive product, team, and operational excellence for a key growth pillar of the Jordan Brand.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • You’ll be responsible for collaborating with your Footwear Product Marketing team as well as cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design (footwear/color/materials), Development (Engineering/Testing/Costing), Planning & Brand teammates in support of creating industry-leading sneakers with compelling & consumer-centric stories.
  • You will also work in close partnership with Men’s and Women’s Footwear teams to drive and ensure critical alignment across products and plans.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field or 2 additional experiences in lieu of a degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Passion for sneakers and for the Athletic Footwear Industry
  • Team-player mindset with demonstrated examples of collaboration and partnership to accomplish tasks.
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to learn about products, new consumers, ideas, and opportunities.
