WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

  • The nature of the work is focused on product realization including planning & evolution of product lines.
  • Performs market research for the category.
  • With direction, conducts analysis of current business.
  • Contributes to drafting the line plan.
  • Participates in all facets of the product creation process.
  • Enters and ensures accuracy and timeliness of information in the data management system.
  • Works with team to create presentations to sell in product.
  • YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
  • Ensure that Product Team hits all Game Plan Dates; help prepare for meetings ( sample set-up, document preparation, managing pre-read documents, recapping meetings, etc.)
  • Documentation Management: Documenting scrutiny comments (per sample/model) and Communicating changes to the triad and key partners.
  • Sample Organization: Tracking and Organizing Samples
  • Consumer Info Share: Keeping the team informed on the changes with the consumer through newsletters and creative consumer downloads.
  • Presentation Building: In collaboration with the Merchandising team, create impactful presentations to effectively handover the line to our Geo partners.
  • DATA MANAGEMENT: You will manage the product creation workflow through data management and effective collaboration across cross-functional triad partners. You will be delivering on key dates and holding yourself accountable to be a great teammate. Ensure data accuracy in key documents; VLP, 3YR Line Plan, Sells Tools, Miro Boards.
  • In addition, you will learn how to analyze various business metrics to help you plan and manage the line with your SPLM. You will work with the category information analyst to confirm the accuracy of the information in the MMX system (i.e., FOB, landed costs, targeted wholesale prices, forecasted units). You will help manage the three-year line plan.
  • A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of the information in key systems, sample management, participating in and conducting meetings, and providing clear communication to guide cross-functional teams thru critical checkpoints.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • If this is you, you’ll be working with Product Management and a cross-functional team (Merchandising, Design and Technical Design) on the footwear creation process from brief to final product approval.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor’s degree or an additional three years of relevant work experience instead of a degree
  • 2 years of related experience in a product-related role
  • Ability to manage multiple product creation timelines
  • Passion for product, sneaker culture, and women’s businesses
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic; takes the initiative and is proactive
  • A sense of curiosity and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive consensus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations (efficient in Keynote, Miro, PPT, etc.)
