Description:
The Nippon Dynawave Packaging Company has an opportunity available for a motivated and results oriented Application Administrator to join our Information Technology team in Longview, WA.
General Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage critical application patching and development requests in a 24/7, 100% uptime operation. This involves a production, DEV, and QA environment for full deployment testing prior to releasing to production.
- Install new software releases, evaluate and install patches, and conductapplication migrations and upgrades.
- Design, implement, and maintain the architecture necessary for integration between applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to applications, databases, and server problems.
- Perform complex configuration, change management, and testing activities.
- Provide data mining and change log analysis for fact finding.
- Technical writing skill to continuously track software changes and keep documentation and user guides up-to-date.
- Determine future growth requirements of applications in areas such as database size, licensing, application functionality, development needs, and product road-mapping.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of applications by monitoring systems and working effectively with vendors and the IT Team to quickly resolve issues.
- Participate in IT on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage small projects as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Three years of current, professional experience implementing and maintaining enterprise and Operation Technology applications.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and experience.
- Ability to leverage SQL statements/queries in both MSSQL and ORACLE environments.
- Familiar with tools, such as Oracle SQL Developer and Toad.
- VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and/or PowerShell Scripting exp.
- Basic understanding of PLC and Electronics Ladder Logic.
- Linux command line experience.
- Experience documenting and debugging process flows.
- MSSQL Server Management/Administration with a focus on the DBO Role and SSRS management/development.
- Experience with developing product label templates using Unibar.
- Process automation and AI knowledge.
- SQL Query Development as it relates to MSSQL and Oracle databases.
- Experience with application disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
