Responsibilities:
CTG is seeking an outstanding consultant with healthcare ancillary application experience. The ideal consultant will provide general break/ fix application support and come with at least 5 years of IT support experience. This position will be focused on working down the ticket queue, ensuring applications are on the latest versions. The selected consultant will also create and/or update support documentation.
This position is remote only and there is no need for after-hours on-call support.
Position Summary:
• Support and troubleshoot activities across multiple ancillary applications in Windows Production, Test, and Citrix environments, coordinating with customers, other IT staff, and vendor representatives as necessary.
• Acts as an advocate for customers during vendor and IT technology discussions.
• Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of assigned applications.
• Analyzes customer-reported problems to determine corrective action and provides timely feedback.
• Effectively utilizes I.T.’s ticketing solution to maintain an awareness of production issues and customer requests, ensuring that comprehensive updates are posted regularly.
• Provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for on-going production maintenance, support, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate development of client specifications, training curriculum, and technical documentation.
• Determine infrastructure and interface needs across supported applications.
• Diagnosis of failures encountered in application software and related technologies. Participation in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.
• Ensures quality of all application implementations/enhancements prior to release to customers.
• Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care and employee information.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, standards, and methodology pertaining to Governance, Change Management, Project Management, Incident Management, Systems Access and Security.
• Works in a self-directed, dynamic, well-organized manner completing deliverables on time with minimal supervision.
• May be required to perform other reasonably related duties.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective communications skills needed.
• Must work well in group situations and also work well independently assisting with application configuration support, testing, implementation, and training.
• Desktop support experience desired
Epic EMR & Cherwell ticketing system experience – assisting with multiple 3rd party ancillary applications

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 – $115,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
