Job Duties:

  • The Adult Protective Services Case Manager Assistant will support the APS Case Manager (Case Worker I) with any casework necessary to aid in obtaining stability & safety for the vulnerable adult. Will assist all counties in the assigned region and counties across the state as requested.

  • Makes requests and uploads in Linked Files education, medical, dental, and law enforcement records for adults involved with APS.

  • Assists with seeking and securing placement and other services for adults involved with APS.

  • Assists with other administrative support functions to include correspondence, copy, fax, and email.

  • Provides or arranges transportation for adults involved with APS.

  • Participates as a member of a professional team to plan services for clients, attend staffing, and MDT meetings.

  • Assists with the completion of case management data entry.

  • Performs Red Cross Shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Agency Requirements:

A High School Diploma and three (3) years experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.

An Associate’s Degree and one (1) year experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.
