Automatic Programming Sr Software Engineer

$139,832.00-$158,900.00/Year

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and development of a variety of software applications deployed onto combat ground vehicles, and will be responsible for the full software development life-cycle.
- Lead the development and deployment of Autonomy Software to tactical hardware on platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree combined with 7 + years of relevant work experience.
- Abiliity to Obtain Security Clearance
- Broad technical experience to produce architectures, use their leadership skills to successfully plan and execute team objectives and be able to mentor engineers, using incorporating industry best practices.
- Have broad and deep technical understanding on various software architectures, patterns and underlying technologies that support them.
- Be goal oriented and keep the team focused to task
- Be forward looking and evaluate emerging technology and industry trends to guide our future development
- Be able to multi-task on simultaneous development projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and mission scope
- Have exceptional customer service and communication skills, and be helpful and calm under pressure
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where the toolset is continuously evolving
- Have in-depth knowledge of, and experience with version control systems like GIT, Issue Tracking system like JIRA and Collaboration tools like Confluence, etc.
- Must have 7+ years of experience developing low level software for embedded platforms
- Develop simulations for Hardware in the loop testing
- Develop serious games for testing
- Experience in C++
- Experience using source control and tools
- Object-Oriented programming principles
- Strong background and understanding of product development, quality control, and product readiness requirements in hardware driven projects
- Excellent technical skills with a passion for quality
- Experience in a mixed OS environment (Windows/Linux)
- Experience working in highly regulated industries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, and a professional attitude
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong team-oriented attitude
- Organized individual who has the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects within tight deadlines and requires little to no supervision
- Experience working with or in a military or federal environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary team
