Job Summary
We are looking for an Aquatics Park Service Supervisor to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for helping manage the daily operations of the water park, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and customer service expectations are met.
The Park Service Supervisor assists with supervision and monitoring work duties of Aquatics Park Service Operators. Responsible for the set-ups and take-downs of daily/weekly rentals, janitorial inventory and supervises and maintains the cleanliness of and performs the daily/weekly cleaning for aquatics facilities. Ensures all aquatic facilities and equipment are safe and working properly through preventive maintenance and monitoring of the pool environment to meet all required local health codes. Done via water quality testing, filter cleaning, and pool chemicals.
During winter season at Town Square: Provides for a guest focused environment. Must be available to work late nights and weekends at times.
Duties
- Assists with supervision and monitoring work duties of Aquatics Park Service Operators.
- Supervises and performs the daily/weekly cleaning for aquatics facilities.

Supervises handling of ticketing and money in accordance with City Cash Handling Procedures policy – this includes daily deposits and trips to the bank to make change.
- Prepares all rooms reservations for birthday parties, activities, meetings, and private rentals to include set-ups, take-downs, and cleaning.
- Assists Aquatics/Ice Rink staff with departmental special events, to include equipment preparation, set-up and take-down.
- Ensures all aquatic facilities and equipment are safe and working properly through preventive maintenance and monitoring of the pool environment to meet all required local health codes. Done via water quality testing, filter cleaning, and pool chemicals.
- Meets regularly with the Aquatics Coordinator to ensure there is complete cooperation between divisions.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years/seasons of building maintenance or similarly related experience.
- American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED Certified or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
PREFERRED:
- Some post-secondary education
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Additional Information
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to perform plumbing, carpentry, floor maintenance and general housekeeping. Knowledge in office equipment and janitorial equipment.Ability to work with public in positive manner and to communicate, delegate and supervise effectively.
Attendance and after hour/weekend availability is an essential function of this position. The City reserves the right to require an employee in this position to work overtime. This position provides services or performs duties for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations. These may include services or duties different from those performed in the usual course and scope of your job. In the event of an evacuation, the incumbent in this position may be required to remain to perform needed services.
