The Role
The Bay Area Infrastructure Design team is seeking a talented digital designer to support our Architecture and BIM projects in the Bay Area. Candidates must possess the technical knowledge of industry standard visualization software, as well as demonstrate a commitment to creativity, research, and innovation. With a passion for communicating design through computer graphics, designer will collaborate with project teams to deliver sophisticated and compelling visuals. The designer will produce models/renders that represent interior and exterior concepts and study materiality, spatial quality, details, and overall design of building projects.
Responsibilities
– Work closely with design teams to interpret their designs intent into compelling, high-quality, computer-generated images
• Modeling/Texturing/Lighting/Cameras/Rendering/Post-Production for architectural and interior design scenes
• Troubleshoot and optimize 3D scenes for production rendering and anticipated future needs using creative problem-solving skills
• Operate as the lead 3D artist on stills, animation, and real-time projects
• Execute high quality images under tight deadlines without sacrificing artistry or attention to detail
• Elevate our visualization pipeline through the exploration of new tools and technologies
• Be an integral part of the Architecture and Design teams working collaboratively to produce work that not only visually communicated design intent, concepts, options but solves design problems through modeling
• Apply constructive feedback to renderings without hesitation, iterating concepts to perfection
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in Architecture or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
• Knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD/Rhino/Sketchup Strong foundation of visual storytelling, look development, lighting/camera composition
• Knowledge of distributed rendering, batch rendering, and render farm job management.
• Demonstrates ability to consistently meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver a high-quality product
• Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, as well as individually based on the project needs
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and time management skills

- Expected Compensation
$72,000 – $288,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
