Area VP – SLED

Position Overview:

Juniper Networks is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Vice President of SLED (State, Local, and Education). Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, the successful candidate will lead the strategic growth and market expansion within the SLED sector. As a visionary leader, you will drive a high-performance sales culture, set bold objectives, and deliver results while embodying the Juniper Way.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute innovative strategies to drive sales and revenue growth within the SLED sector, aligning with company objectives and the Juniper Way.

– Lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals, fostering individual and team success.

– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ecosystem partners, to create and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, achieving bookings and pipeline goals.

– Analyze sales metrics and forecasts, providing strategic insights to optimize execution and sales strategies.

– Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the education and government sectors, translating technical benefits into impactful solutions for their unique business challenges.

– Stay at the forefront of industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscapes to inform and adapt sales strategies for ongoing growth.

– Represent Juniper Networks as a thought leader at industry events and customer forums, enhancing brand presence and building strategic relationships.

– Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets, accurate forecasting, and efficient resource utilization.

Qualifications:

– 10+ years of proven experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, with a strong background in the SLED sector.

– Track record of exceeding sales quotas, driving revenue growth, and a deep understanding of enterprise solutions and complex sales methodologies.

– Familiarity with the SLED landscape and the ability to translate technical benefits into impactful business solutions.

– Comprehensive understanding of partner ecosystems and go-to-market strategies, including system integrators, channel partners, and service providers.

– Exceptional leadership skills, including mentorship, coaching, and development of top-tier teams.

– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.

– Passion for driving innovation and scaling emerging technologies within a fast-paced environment.

– Bachelor’s degree preferred

– Willingness to travel as needed.

Minimum Salary: $302,720.00

Maximum Salary:$435,160.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $302,720.00 and $435,160.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
